MCC Making Strides Team to host La Loteria (Mexican Bingo)
The Mott Community College Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team is hosting La Loteria (Mexican Bingo) Saturday, Sept. 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the MCC Events Center on the main campus in Flint. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Making Strides initiative.
Cost for the event is $20 and includes five La Loteria cards to be used for up to two hours to win prizes(additional available for $1 each). Snacks will be available for purchase during the event.
“This is a fun way to raise awareness and funds for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign,” said Kimberly Dolejsi, Purchasing Specialist for the College and chairperson of the La Loteria event. “It is also an excellent kick-off for Hispanic Heritage Month,” she added. AS a platinum sponsor fof the Making Strides Campaign, MCC continues its commitment to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
