(FLINT, Mich., April 19, 2019) – Mott Community College (MCC) will host MOTT EATS, ARTS & BEATS on Thursday, April 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the MCC Event Center on the main campus in Flint. The event is a book launch party for Making Memories From Scratch, a book of recipes and memories from MCC students, faculty and staff, the proceeds of which will go to the Mott Eats Food Pantry.

In addition to the book launch there will be food tastings provided by the MCC Culinary Arts program, door prizes and give-aways, music by the MCC Jazz Band, food-themed artwork including pottery bowls for purchase by MCC Art students, and family friendly activities and food demonstrations. It is free and open to the public.
