MCC Respiratory Therapy Program earns fourth CoARC award
The Mott Community College Respiratory Therapy program has been recognized with the Distinguished RRT Credentialing Success Award by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). The award represents a standard of professional achievement in inspiring graduates to achievement their highest educational and professional aspirations.
“This award acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the MCC Respiratory Therapy
faculty and staff who have created an environment of student success,” said MCC President,
Dr. Beverly Walker-Griffea. “Their commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
is evident in the fact they have received this award four times.”
The MCC program met four key accreditation criteria to earn the award, including having three or more years of outcomes data, holding accreditation without a progress report, documenting RRT credentialing success of 90 percent or above, and meeting or exceeding established CoARC thresholds for credentialing success and retention.
