Visit MCC4Me/My BackPack to search for classes and sections 2. Gather appropriate signatures and permissions, or visit an advisor • Advisor approval is needed if you are registering for the first time OR have a cumulative GPA below 2.0. Go to the Academic Advising Center, PCC2040 • An Academic Dean’s signature is required if you are registering for more than 18 credit hours in fall or winter semester or 9 in a spring or summer session. 3. Register early to ensure your classes and sections are available. • Your are encouraged to register online through MCC4Me/My BackPack • In-Person registration can be completed in the Career and Enrollment Center Prerequisite Courses Students currently enrolled in a prerequisite course are allowed to enroll in the subsequent course prior to completion of the prerequisite. If, however, the prerequisite is not completed successfully, the student will be withdrawn from the subsequent class. Add/Drop/Withdraw By registering for classes you are entering into a financial obligation. If you decide not to attend, classes must be dropped, by you, within the posted refund dates. Classes can be added/dropped in-person or online during designated add/drop period. (See back of handbook for registration dates and academic calendar for additional registration requirements). You may withdraw from a class and receive a “W” grade up to the 90% point of course completion. Classes may not be dropped after this date. Registration Restrictions/Prior Term Balances Before registering for classes, you must pay all outstanding debts and ensure that registration restrictions are removed.
