Program Overview:

The Job Corps Scholars (JCS) is a program that offers Free Career Training to youth 16-24 years old. The program will provide career training opportunities in Computer Science, Healthcare, Automotive, Skilled Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, and more! This Career Training Scholarship opportunity includes supportive services and is Free to students that meet the eligibilty requirements. The supportive services included are: Educational Counseling, Employment Counseling, Employment Readiness Workshops, Personal and Career Assessments, Job Placement Assistance, and one year of follow-up support.

Learning Objectives:

Once Scholars have completed the academic portion of the program, they are prepared and will be placed into related employment or apprenticeship opportunities as a benefit of their Technical training, Personal and Career Counseling, and Employer Engagement.

  • Eligibility:

    • Youth who are ages 16-24 years old
    • Have a High school diploma or GED
    • Or Working towards a GED
