Water Testing at Applewood Café
At the beginning of October 2015, as part of the effort by MCC to provide quality water usage for our entire College community we provided several PUR brand point-of-use NSF 42/53 certified faucet filters at sinks in the Applewood Cafe kitchens as well as bottled water dispensers. It is important to note that ALL water used to prepare and serve food at Applewood Cafe is filtered to NSF 42/53 standards. MCC is studying the culinary kitchens to determine a permanent and complete filtering system for all water used in the program.
