Applewood at Second and Saginaw is MCC’s upscale casual restaurant/teaching laboratory in downtown Flint. From American fare to international cuisine, we offer a wide range of dishes and desserts that will pique your palate, all in a sleek and modern dining space.
Our monthly menu offers budding culinary artists, aspiring pastry chefs and hospitality professionals real-world experience, allowing them to learn and expand their craft and innovation in the kitchen.
The restaurant is open for lunch during the Fall and Winter semesters.
Applewood is closed the week of November 24-28, 2025 due to a special event and the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen Monday, December 1, 2025.
