Applewood at Second and Saginaw is MCC’s upscale casual restaurant/teaching laboratory in downtown Flint. From American fare to international cuisine, we offer a wide range of dishes and desserts that will pique your palate, all in a sleek and modern dining space.
Our monthly menu offers budding culinary artists, aspiring pastry chefs and hospitality professionals real-world experience, allowing them to learn and expand their craft and innovation in the kitchen.
The restaurant is open for lunch during the Fall and Winter semesters.
The last day for Winter semester dining is Thursday, April 23, 2026.
The restaurant will be closed on Thursday, April 9, 2026 for a private event.
