What Constitutes a Strategic Story Lead?

We are looking for initiatives and achievements that align with the college’s mission and resonate with our community. Examples include:

  • Institutional Excellence: Prestigious awards, grants or professional recognitions within your department.
  • Academic Innovation: The launch of pioneering programs or unique learning opportunities.
  • Student and Alumni Success: Compelling student and/or alumni journeys, human interest stories or external media coverage of MCC scholars.
  • Community Impact: Initiatives that demonstrate MCC’s vital role in the regional landscape.

Submission Process

Our team will evaluate each submission to determine the most effective distribution channel, ranging from formal press releases and media pitching to targeted social media campaigns and internal features.
