I am honored to welcome you to Mott Community College!
Whether you are a potential or current student, staff or faculty member, or a member of the communities that surround our main campus in Flint, or our extension sites in Clio, Fenton and Lapeer, please know that we are heartened by your interest in our mission.
Mott Community College (MCC) is the preeminent provider of higher education and training in Flint, Genesee County, mid-Michigan and beyond. We are a 101-year-old bedrock institution, with tens of thousands of alumni and more than 8,000 current credit and non-credit students. MCC offers 100+ associate degrees and certificate programs, has extremely cost-effective pricing with multiple financial assistance options and actively supports our students through a wide array of academic and personal services. We also offer an active student life and nationally recognized athletic tradition, with more than 35 student clubs (and 600+ student club members) and ten NJCAA varsity athletic teams and two e-Sports teams.
Simply put, we are here to change people’s lives for the better – every single day.
For me, my service as the President at MCC is the culmination of an extraordinary set of leadership experiences brought together in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give back to the people and community I love. I was born and raised in Genesee County and learned about MCC's iconic role in local higher education as a small child. Many of my family members and friends attended MCC and have gone on to lead successful, fulfilling lives in great part due to their MCC experience and education. While my career took me away from this community for a short while, I am extraordinarily grateful to be home. I am ready – and prepared – to roll up my sleeves and put my unique skills, talents and relationships to work for MCC with an unwavering focus on student success.
Again, welcome to Mott Community College – a source of hope and progress for our students, employees and community – and a special place with a shining legacy to build upon as we move forward together.
Go Bears!
