Students are encouraged to use My Backpack self-service tools to plan courses and communicate electronically to their assigned advisor. My Backpack is accessible through students MCC4Me accounts and academic planning tools are located in the “Advising” tab in My Backpack. Students can add courses to their timeline by selecting the “Timeline” tab. Please ensure that you click the “Request Review” tab located in the top right corner to notify your academic advisor that there is a pending review for approval. You can also use the "Compose a note" feature under the "Note" tab to communicate with your assigned advisor, but students must hit the "Request Review" in order for courses to be approved.
