For facility use consideration:

  • All events must fall within the eligibility requirements listed in the Board of Trustees approved policy regarding use of college facilities and services.
  • Please contact the Events Office at (810) 232-9636 or (810) 762-0475 to provide the details of your event to the staff who will assist with getting any necessary preparations set prior to your event.
  • Please complete the following questionnaire:
    Facilities Request Form for External MCC Organizations or Groups
  • If your request is approved, a Facilities Use Form will be completed with the information provided and sent to you via email.
  • The Facilities Use Form will need to be reviewed, signed, dated and returned with a Certificate of Liability Insurance.

Considerations as you begin to plan your event:

  • A Certificate of Liability Insurance documenting coverage in the amount of one million dollars is required for all outside organizations.


  • Please refer to the Established Catering Vendors page for your event's food service needs.
  • At least one week prior to your event please contact the Events Office to finalize your catering order.

Parking and Direction Signs

For generic parking and event direction signs to be placed for your event:

  • Please contact Department of Public Safety at (810) 762-0222 at least 6 days in advance and provide event name, date, time, location and contact person's name.

Warning - Emergency Cancellation Policy:

48-hour cancellation notice is required for all events.
