On November 3, 2026, voters residing within the boundaries of the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) will consider the renewal of MCC's voter-approved operating millage. This proposal renews the property tax support previously approved by voters in 2016, sustaining the everyday programs, services and workforce training that keep our community growing.

For over a century, Mott Community College has been a cornerstone of higher education and an economic driving force in our district. Delivering high-quality, accessible education and improving our students’ overall quality of life remains at the heart of our mission.
We are deeply committed to investing in the community we serve. This millage renewal is about maintaining the foundational funding that supports our diverse academic programs, keeps our main campus and extension sites operating smoothly and ensures MCC remains affordable and attainable for everyone.
— Shaunda Richardson-Snell, President of Mott Community College
