Mott, Motown & More held its annual lip sync fundraiser on 5/31 and 6/1/18, grossing more than $28,000. Best ever!
On 4/25/18, the Women In Education Initiative's Fellow Graduation Luncheon was held in Applewood Cafe.
Entertainment featured an interpretive dance by Nioki Rawls and a song by Denise Ford.
Guest speaker was Michelle Landon, President of ATIGroup Energy & Systems Solutions.
Graduating Fellows presented their vision boards and received stipend checks. They were: Cortney Edwards, Olivia Harper, Ashley Mastin-Chapman, Arianna Pittenger, Nia Skinner- Miller & Naujadene Tiner.
The Foundation for MCC held its annual Donor/Student Meet & Greet Reception on April 12, 2018. Thank you, donors, for supporting our students! And a big thank you to those student scholarship recipients who were able to attend despite their heavy load of classes!

MCC held a male summit, Saturday, November 11, 2017 featuring Guest Speakers Dr. Adolf Brown, Internationally renowned Master Educator, and Javier Trejo, Education & Mentor in Youth Advancement. The event also included Breakout Sessions on education, health and Safety.
This past year the Coffee Beanery opened a franchise on MCC's main campus and also established The Coffee Beanery scholarship for students.
