Culinary Arts Institute Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Downtown Flint
The Culinary Arts Institute Grand Opening was held in downtown Flint. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held. The event featured tours and a biscuit making demonstration by celebrity chef Carla Hall.

Our annual Donor & Student Reception was held providing a great opportunity for donors to meet the students they have helped through their support.

The annual Women In Education Fellows Graduation Lunch was held to honor those graduating fellows. Congrats, ladies!

Awaken My Youth: Stay Woke! This free summit w as held in support of male diversity in education and featured Attorney Jarrett M. Adams.

An Equal Pay Day Lunch was held on April 2, 2019 in Applewood Café. Women across Michigan wore red on this day to show how far women are “in the red” with their pay.

The Lenore Croudy Family Life Center fundraiser breakfast was held in the Event Center. A one hour program featured plans for the new center.

MCC Alumni Night at the Pistons vs LA Lakers game at Little Caesars Arena was held and well attended. Go Pistons!

MCC Alumni Night at the home basketball games was held. MCC played Macomb Community College. Go Bears!

On January 14, 2019, the 40th Annual City-Wide Tribute Dinner honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was held and featured guest speaker Dr. Agustin V. Arbulu, Executive Director of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

The 2018 Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Retiree Awards Ceremony was held on 10/11/18 at MCC’s Event Center.
