Professionals at the ECLC

Daily administration of the child care and education program is the responsibility of the Director. The Director has a master’s degree with a background in early childhood and coursework in administration.
Administration also includes the Assistant Director who provides program oversight.

GSRP Lead Teachers have a Bachelor’s degree or higher level completed course-work in early childhood education, child development or a related field. GSRP Associate teachers support the teachers with the implementation of classroom lessons and activities and typically hold a child development credential (CDA), or an associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development or a related field. GSRP Assistant teachers are part-time staff who work alongside the professional staff within the classroom to offer support in the care of the children.

Child Care teachers have a degree in early childhood education or are pursuing a degree. Assistants meet DHS licensing guidelines.

All staff have a DHS central registry and ICHAT background clearance. All professional staff has current certification in CPR and Pediatric First Aid.
