The President's Commitment To Excellence Award
The President's Commitment to Excellence Award is given annually to recognize those who are committed to the success of our students and/or institution by performing their duties at an exceptional level going above and beyond expectations. Criteria includes: consistently providing excellent service outcomes; having a significant impact on colleagues, students and/or the community; delivering on the Mott Community College Mission; and demonstrating excellence under the Mott Community College Three Cs - Commitment, Civility and Compliance.
All employees, temporaries and Mott partners (anyone who works for or provides service to Mott) are eligible to receive the award. Nominations can be submitted by students, employees, temporaries and Mott partners. The program recognizes contributions during the previous year (July 1 – June 30).
Nominations will be accepted April - May and should be submitted to the President's Office no later than May 31. The nomination form requests evidence and examples of excellence that go above and beyond the ordinary; for example, a project, event, accomplishment or creation of systemic change. The President reserves the right to select those who have shown exemplary achievement without receiving a nomination, to call for nominations and recognize recipients at other times of the year, and to modify any aspect of the recognition program.
The President or their designee(s) will determine the award recipients.
