The Coffee Beanery locations at Mott Community College are operated by students from the Culinary Arts Institute under the guidance of Chef Greg Campbell. They serve as working laboratories for our food programs, much like our restaurant, Applewood at Second & Saginaw.
At each location, you can find your favorite Coffee Beanery beverages, along with a limited rotating breakfast and lunch menu. In addition, a variety of freshly-baked goods are available, hand-crafted by the Institute's Baking and Pastry Arts students. Visit us on the main campus of Mott Community College in the Prahl College Center or at our downtown Flint location at the Culinary Arts Institute, 550 S. Saginaw St.
In 2017, Coffee Beanery owner, and MCC alumnus, Julius Shaw and his wife, Joanne Shaw donated the main campus franchise to the college as part of our culinary arts program.
With every iced coffee or freshly-baked Pineapple-ginger muffin, your purchase provides scholarship funds for our culinary students with multiple awards given throughout the academic year.
