Students

All currently enrolled students at Mott Community College can access library resources throughout their enrollment period. A student's ID card functions as their library card and is required for borrowing materials. Acceptable forms of identification to check-out materials include the student ID card issued by Mott, a valid Driver's License, or a passport booklet/card. Each student may borrow up to ten items at a time. For detailed information, please consult our Circulation Policies or approach the Circulation desk for further assistance.

University Center Students

Have the same borrowing privileges as Mott students. University Center Students can register for the current semester only. They must apply for a new card each semester at the Circulation Desk. To apply for the card, the students must bring Picture ID, Current College ID, and proof of enrollment for the semester (either a Course Schedule or Syllabus from a current course). Both Picture ID and the provided University Library Card are required to check out materials.

Academic Resource Sharing

MCC and U of M-Flint participate in limited sharing of books for current students (2 books per visit/10 books per semester). In order to qualify for an ARS card, you must:

  1. Be registered for current semester
  2. Be in good standing with the library
  3. Be in good standing with the college
